General Description
The production, calibration, and repair of conventional fire control systems requires azimuth, cross level, and other test fixtures. Seiler Instrument manufactures these test fixtures for internal production testing and resale to both government and private industry. In addition to the standard U.S. Government designs, Seiler Instrument has proven retrofit packages to digitize these fixtures. The angle encoders achieve better than 1/10 artillery mil (1/64000 of a circle) accuracy, and greatly reduce setup times. These systems are used in our own production, have been sold to the U.S. Army, and are now available as an option in new production. These systems can also be retrofitted to existing fixtures as part of a refurbishment order.
