General Description
The Collimator Projector is used as a known distance target,
allowing long range adjustments of telescopes in short range
conditions, and alternately as an image source for optical system
alignment for lens bench use with special fixtures.

Angular accuracy: At the infinity position of the
objective assembly, the angular separation between the left and right 50
mil graduation marks shall be 100mils +/- 2 mils.
Resolution: The axial resolution of the collimator as a
telescope shall be 5 seconds or less. At one focus setting of an
observation telescope of at least 3 power and at least 7/16 aperature
positioned at the eyepiece of the collimator. Resolution consists of
detectable line structure and proper line count in all 4 meridians.
